Located in a peaceful and safe residential neighborhood in South Lake Tahoe, the home is adjacent to National Forest land and is the perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts — easy access to some of the best trails, golf courses and ski resorts in the Tahoe Basin! Nearby trails lead to meadows, mountains, and rivers.

A Modern Retreat

Where great design meets the great outdoors. Originally built in 1970, this mid-century ranch-style home has been lovingly transformed into a luxurious alpine retreat. This unique 3 bedroom 2 bath home comfortably sleeps 8 and is surrounded by snow-capped pines throughout the property, offering tree views from every window. Inspired by its mountain surroundings and the biophilic design philosophy (incorporating natural elements to create a closer connection to nature, decrease stress levels and improve health), the home seeks to bring the outdoors in by incorporating a mix of wood tones, rich textures and natural elements to create unique design features that reinforce our innate connection with nature.

Amenities You’ll Love

    • BATHROOM: full-sized toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion), bath towels and hot tub towels for every guest, first aid kit and a hair dryer

    • BEDROOM: bedding, USB outlets, extra pillows and blankets, room darkening shades, and dressers

    • LAUNDRY: washing machine, dryer with full-sized detergent, softener and dryer sheets as well as an iron

    • PARKING: 4 cars max. No on street or dirt parking, especially in winter. We use the garage for storage so it is not accessible to guests

The bunk bed set-up makes keeping kids together simple, and there's nearby snow activities - from making snowmen in the backyard, to tubing on trails ~.5miles away, to getting to ski at Heavenly which is a quick 10 minute drive."

    • Parking: 4 cars maximum in driveway. Garage is not open to guests. No street or dirt parking.

    • Exterior security cameras on property -- The property has noise monitoring devices and security cameras actively monitoring/recording the exterior entry/back doors, walkways, and driveway to the house.

    • No Interior Cameras

    Property Considerations

    • Must climb stairs

    • Pool/hot tub without a gate or lock

    • Heights without rails or protection -- Guests will have access to backyard decks that are approximately 2 feet above the ground without a railing.

    • Climbing or play structure -- there are 2 swings in the backyard

    • Free cancellation for 24 hours.

    • Partial refund -- Get back 50% of every night if more than 14 days prior to check-in days.

    • No refund -- If you cancel within 14 days prior to your check-in date you will not receive a refund.
